Johnny Rocca's,
"Tin Indian" - The first Blown Pro Mod,
1933 Willys has been restored and will be
unveiled Saturday, October 20th at the East
Coast Drag Times Hall of Fame & Reunion in
Henderson, NC. The owner Aaron Pilatzke
announced today he will bring the car from
Canada to Henderson. Johnny Rocca will also
be attending the event to reunite with
fellow racers and fans.
One of
the East Coast's strongest running
AA/Altereds was the Pacers entry
from Oceanside, NY. The '23 T roadster
featured a belt-driven blower on a
392-ci gas-burning Chrysler, and the

The
Pacers Altered will be unveiled
October 20, 2007 at the East Coast
Drag Times Hall of Fame & Reunion.
The clone altered, the chief
driver, George Snizek and crew members will
reunite in Henderson, NC. The car
was originally co-owned by Charlie
Dodge and George Snizek. The new
owner, Jerry Joaquin will bring the
car from Arizona to be displayed for
fans and fellow racers to see. This

A very
race piece of America's Pro Stock
drag racing history will be on
display in Henderson, NC at the East
Coast Drag Times Hall of Fame &
Reunion, October 19 - 20. In the
early 1970's Chrysler Corporation
delivered to the factory backed
teams the "Body in White" cars.
Dandy "Dick" Landy and Kent Fuller
designed and built one of those cars
for Irv Beringhaus in late 1972.
There were a total of three "TRUE"
Motown Missile cars. A 1970
Challenger, a 1972 Cuda and the 1973
Duster Missile that will be
displayed in Henderson.

A Drag Racing Hall Of
Fame
For The East Coast Five
years ago, in 2002, one individual
gathered about her a small yet
determined group of eastern based
drag racers, media types and fans
and formed the East Coast Drag Times
Hall of Fame.
